Collection
System
Ibexi’s Receipting and Collections System manage the entire process
from receipt of filled proposal form with instrument till data to be
fed into the core policy administration system after realization. It
helps an insurance company to issue receipts for the payments received,
reconcile payment with the bank and entry of realized
policies/proposals in core administration system.
The system can handle collections through various instruments i.e.
Cheque, Cash and DD. User will be able to do reconciliation through
auto matching as well as manual matching between the bank book i.e.
records send to the bank for clearance and the bank statement i.e. file
sent by bank containing the status as Credit/dishonor. RCS supports
online as well as offline versions i.e. remote offline branches can
also have a system in place for collections. The system can be hosted
on a centralized server for online branches and on a local server for
off-line branches.
RCS has three-tier Web architecture with JSP and AJAX as the front-end,
Java Beans, Servlets, Hibernate for the middle-layer and Oracle/DB2 and
SQL as the backend database.
Other than the main functionalities, RCS also provides Bounced cheque
processing, late bounce exception handling and pushes only cleared and
realized proposals/policies.
